Saving The Past For Your Future

Reminisce!   Learn!   Visit the past!   Understand the present!   Visit the Greenwood Military Aviation Museum!

We house permanent and temporary exhibits that reflect the history of units that have called Greenwood home.  The permanent displays encompass the early formation of the base in 1942 and proceed through the Lancaster, Neptune, Argus and Aurora eras. The history of Greenwood’s present day squadrons: 14 AMS, 404, 405, 413, 415, 434 and 14 SES are proudly displayed in a special area set aside for the squadron historians. Special theme exhibits are featured from time to time to provide our return visitors with something different. For aviation collectors or someone looking for a special gift, our gift shop offers books, flags, models, posters, shirts, quality prints, patches and more. We are located just outside the front gate of 14 Wing / CFB Greenwood beside the Canex.

Why are we using the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format for our forms?

The answer is really simple. Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) is a widely used standard for electronic documents. It preserves the fonts, formatting, colors, and graphics of any document, regardless of the application and platform. PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, and printed exactly as intended by anyone with Adobe's free Acrobat Reader software. You can set up your browser so that PDF files you download will automatically open, either right in the browser or in Acrobat Reader.

This way, we can reach everyone without fail. PC or MAC. All you need is to download the FREE software and install it on your computer. More and more Websites are using the Adobe Acrobat format for its simplicity and ease of use.
